On April 16, 2025, HMEL in partnership with the Centre for High Technology (CHT) hosted the Apex Body Meeting, on ‘Best Procurement Practices for the Oil & Gas Sector,' which was graced by presence of Mr. Prabh Das, MD & CEO, HMEL and Mr. Harak Banthia, CFO, HMEL. This high-level meeting brought together senior leaders and experts from the oil and gas sector, including dignitaries from HCPL, MRPL, IOCL, BPCL, among others. The aim of the meeting was to share strategies, innovations, and institutional frameworks for procurement excellence. HMEL C&P Team led by Mr. Prabhakararao Kakumani, VP-C&P, HMEL, made focused presentations and exchanged ideas on areas of common interest. The event fostered collaboration, shared best practices, and charted a forward-looking roadmap for digital transformation, efficiency, and governance in procurement.
