From March 17-21, 2025, HMEL hosted its 4th Annual Learning Week-Innovation Arcade, transforming employee learning through a customized Metaverse. Employees created avatars and embarked on a gamified learning journey, fostering experimentation and collaboration.
The event, inaugurated by Mr. Prabh Das, MD&CEO, HMEL in presence of the Leadership Team, featured expert sessions from global thought leaders and industry experts. Mr. Ashok Kumar, VP-HL, emphasized the importance of a learning mindset and the synergy between digitalisation and innovation. Mr. Gopal Mehrotra, GM-HL, highlighted the need for agility and dynamic learning.
A key session between Mr. Vikas Kaushal, Chairman, HMEL & Chairman & Managing Director, HPCL and Mr. Prabh Das, MD & CEO, HMEL, moderated by Mr. Mehrotra, focused on catalyzing a culture of innovation. The event highlights included a Nukkad Natak on innovation, AI workshops, and panel discussions. The Innovation Arcade Awards recognized employees' contributions.
The event concluded with very encouraging words by Mr. Das to lead with the power of continuous learning. Key statistics: 1323 users, 1,694 selfies, 548 feedback pieces, 100% positive feedback, 827,695 emojis, attendees from over 21 cities, and more than 1200 cumulative learning hours.
