Guru Gobind Singh Refinery (GGSR)

Our state-of-the-art refinery is an environment-friendly, energy-efficient facility with a processing capacity of 11.3 MMTPA. As one of Punjab’s largest investments, GGSR caters to the demand-driven market in Northern India, setting a new benchmark in clean energy production. 

  • The most modern and integrated refinery in the country with advanced analytics and process automation.
  • A high-distillate yielding complex producing high-value petroleum products, including BS-VI fuels (the world’s cleanest fuel).
  • Commissioned in a record time of four years, the refinery processes 225,000 barrels of crude every day.
  • Powered by best-in-class licensors such as Axens, UOP, Stone & Webster, IBM, SAP, and Honeywell.
  • The first refinery to integrate a Polypropylene plant with Petro-FCCU for value-added PP production.

Industry-Leading Petrochemical Plant

We have established a world-class petrochemical plant designed to meet India’s rapidly growing demand for polymers. Our facility features India’s largest dual-feed cracker (1200 KTPA), along with multiple advanced units dedicated to producing polypropylene and polyethylene.

  • Redefines industry standards in production capacity and efficiency with one of India’s largest mixed-feed crackers.
  • Equipped with a 1.2 MMTPA cracker, along with 1.2 MMTPA Polyethylene (PE) and 1.0 MMTPA Polypropylene (PP) plants.
  • Completed in just 48 months, demonstrating remarkable cost efficiency and execution speed.
  • Integrated with one of India’s largest Automatic Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) warehouses, with a 150 KT capacity.
  • Features India’s largest polypropylene (PP) extruder, with a capacity of 86.4 TPH, and the country’s first CP-Chem licensed HDPE plant for niche grades.
