In a key milestone towards strengthening energy logistics, HMEL signed a Port & Pipeline Service Agreement with M/s Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZL) for laying a 30”/36” diameter, 11 km Naphtha pipeline from Adani Jetty to HMEL’s Crude Oil Terminal (COT), Mundra. The agreement was executed on July 14, 2025 in the presence of Mr. Harak Banthia, CFO, HMEL and Mr. Ashwani Gupta, CEO, APSEZL, symbolizing a strategic collaboration between two major industry players. This dedicated pipeline will significantly enhance Naphtha receipt capabilities at Mundra, resulting in increased flow rate, reduction in vessel demurrage charges and improvement in vessel turnaround time.
