The recent Activity Committee Meet (ACM) on Best Inspection Practices in Refineries, Petrochemicals and Pipelines with the theme "Empowering Asset Integrity Through Digitalization," held at HMEL on April 24-25, 2024, marked a pivotal moment in the journey towards innovation and efficiency in refinery and pipeline inspection practices. Organised in collaboration with the Centre of High Technology (CHT), the event brought together delegates from 25 organizations encompassing Refineries, Petrochemicals and Pipelines across India. Distinguished guests graced the occasion, lending their insights and expertise to the discussions. Mr. Baljeet Singh, Director, CHT, Mr. Pankaj Kuchal, Executive Director, IOCL, Mr. S.S. Through interesting panel discussions, the speakers emphasised the role of digitalization in driving proactive inspection strategies, reducing downtime, and optimizing resource allocation. Participants exchanged best practices, shared case studies, and explored emerging trends in the realm of digital asset management, with a focus on leveraging the latest digital techniques real-time data and analytics to make informed decisions and mitigate risks effectively. The event was attended by about 120 delegates & speakers from various sites of the refinery, petrochemical, pipeline, and NDT/Inspection solution providers.
