Reinforcing its commitment to inclusive growth and cultural preservation, HMEL hosted an exclusive fashion showcase themed ‘Phulkari of Punjab’ at the National Crafts Museum & Hastkala Academy, New Delhi on March 25, 2026. The showcase was anchored in HMEL’s flagship CSR initiative focused on Women Empowerment through Skill Training – Phulkari Programme. The showcase featured an exclusive collection developed in collaboration with renowned designer Pratima Pandey, with each ensemble meticulously handcrafted by the artisans. Mr. Ashok Kumar, VP-Human Leadership, attended the event and commended the artisans for their exceptional creations, encouraging them to showcase the Phulkari craft on both national and international platforms.
