HMEL marked the successful conclusion of Energy Quest 2.0, Quiz for 3rd & 4th year engineering students across top institutions in India, with a grand closing ceremony held on September 25, 2025 at Bathinda. The ceremony was graced by Mr. Prabh Das, MD & CEO, who felicitated the top performers with certificates of appreciation and mementos, acknowledging their talent, perseverance and innovative spirit. In his address, Mr. Das commended the students for their outstanding performance and encouraged them to continue pursuing excellence and contribute meaningfully to India’s energy sector. This year’s edition witnessed 5,906 registrations, reflecting the growing popularity of the programme. Out of these, 3,760 students participated in the first round and a total of 2,877 students qualified for the final round, of which 2,665 attended, showcasing exceptional enthusiasm and commitment. Based on the defined evaluation criteria, the top 30 performers were shortlisted. The top four students received Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) along with cash prizes, while the remaining finalists were also recognized with cash awards for their commendable performance. The event celebrated the exceptional achievements of the top performers who emerged through the rigorous multi-round competition designed to inspire innovation and technical excellence among young talent.
