The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zest at HMEL Township Bathinda at Pipeline locations. Families of employees also participated in the event held at HMEL Township. Students of Millennium School presented patriotic songs and sports competitions were organized among the security team and staff.
Mr. A.S. Basu, COO, HMEL, hoisted the national flag. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Basu, emphasised that Independence Day is not just a celebration of the past, it is also a reminder of our responsibility towards the future. HMEL as a company is playing an important role in shaping the energy future of the country as well as empowering the local communities.
HMEL’s senior leaders, including Mr. M.B. Gohil, Head of Operations, Mr. Davinder Mittal, VP- Refinery Operations, Mr. Arun Bhardwaj, VP-Operational Excellence, Mr. Anshu Sharma, VP-Petchem Operations, Mr. Atul Saxena, VP-Technical Services, Mr. Hector Salazar, VP-Safety, and other departmental Heads were also present on this occasion. Similarly, at Pipeline locations also national flag was hoisted by the respective Unit Heads and sweets were distributed among employees.
