HMEL signs MoU with RGIPT to foster translational research and development
Strengthening its focus on innovation and research, HMEL signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, on June 3, 2026.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Mr. Prabh Das, MD & CEO, HMEL, along with the RGIPT delegation led by Prof. Harish Hirani, Director, and Dr. Milan Kumar, Dean (Research & Development). This collaboration aims to foster translational research and development in the areas of new products, processes, and technology advancement.
The partnership will include joint R&D projects, pilot-scale studies, technology validation, and commercialization support. By combining HMEL’s industrial expertise and market insights with RGIPT’s academic excellence and research capabilities, the collaboration is expected to deliver scalable, innovative, and sustainable solutions for the energy, petrochemical, and chemical sectors.
