HMEL was conferred with two prestigious IBC Agni Suraksha Puraskar 2026 awards, recognising HMEL’s excellence in safety innovation and emergency preparedness within the Oil and Gas sector, during gala ceremony held on January 23, 2026 at Mumbai.
HMEL was honoured with the Outstanding EHS Innovation Award for its in house developed safety culture transformation programme HMEL PLUS (People Leading Unified Safety). In addition, HMEL received the Outstanding Fire Preparedness and Emergency Management Award for its exceptional performance in emergency system reliability during the calendar year 2025 by achieving 99.93 percent Emergency Equipment Availability.
The awards were received on behalf of HMEL by Mr Rajeev Parmar, Vice President- Projects, Mr Ramesh Nandanwar, DGM-Fire Safety and Mr Vipul Shukla, DM-Safety.
