In a significant step towards promoting health, safety, and well-being within its transportation and logistics support, HMEL launched a Mega Free Health Check-up Camp, inaugurated by Mr. M.B. Gohil, COO, HMEL at GGSR on May 29, 2025. This impactful initiative is designed to provide accessible and inclusive healthcare services to drivers, transport personnel, and co-workers associated with HMEL’s operations. Organised in collaboration with Civil Hospital Bathinda, Ekjyot Eye Hospital (Raman), and Delhi Heart Institute & Multispecialty Hospital, Bathinda, the initiative reflects a strong multi-institutional partnership committed to community health. The inaugural session saw enthusiastic participation from individuals in the comprehensive eye examinations and general health consultations. Under the initiative three camps for General Health, Eye Check-Up and Ayurveda shall be conducted each month until May 2026, or until the entire targeted workforce has been reached. This sustained healthcare outreach underscores HMEL’s steadfast commitment to its workforce, ensuring that health, safety, and wellness remain central to its operational ethos and community engagement efforts.
